Royal Zambezi Wildlife offers exclusive Big Game Safaris in two of Zambia's well known Game Management Areas (GMA), with 35 species available. The company is owner run and operated. Doug Reynolds and his wife Shareen together with Adrian Read collectively have more than 45 years experience in the hunting industry and are there to ensure that your safari is one to be remembered. All our camps are beautifully built with en suite bathrooms and experienced safari chefs produce outstanding cuisine. We cater for groups up to six people. For the fishing enthusiasts both areas have boats and fantastic fishing available.
Lunga Busanga GMA is on the northern boundary of the Kafue National Park covering an area of approximately 3500 square kilometres. It has a diverse range of habitat and offers one of the biggest range of species in any one area in Zambia. Full maned Lions and big Leopards along with outstanding buffalo and plainsgame are taken each year. The Busanga Swamp is a unique habitat of rivers, papyrus and reeds and home to a large population of Sitatunga.
Chiawa GMA is situated in the south of Zambia on the Lower Zambezi floodplains and has an area of approximately 1500 square kilometres. The Zambezi River forms a natural boundary with the Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe. The concession has a 40 km stretch of the Zambezi River and a 10 km stretch on the Kafue River. This is primarily Big Game country with fantastic Elephant, buffalo, Leopard, Hippo, Crocodile and plainsgame hunting.
